BON JOVI I Think I've Got It!!

I have been fighting the inevitable "piggie hay mess"... ya know, the mess the piggies make by tossing hay out of their cage all over the floor. Well I tried a hay rack, a hay box, etc. Still I had more hay ending up on the floor of the cage and the floor under and around the cage... and after the dogs have played in it... hay all over the house.  This nifty hay dispenser consists of a small bungie cord, a  PVC connector and a backsplash of cardboard.

Preemie (Doll) Stretch Socks

These socks actually decrease after the heel making the ankle smaller than the foot to accomodate smaller ankles and soft body type ankles. The yarn used is stretchy and is helpful in avoiding slippage. These socks are for preemie sized dolls. I would not recommend them for human preemies.

5 Hour Baby Sweater... Sorta!

In an attempt to "get ahead" on my knitting for babies that are due next fall and winter, and of undisclosed gender, I have been knitting sweaters that would fit into either gender wardrobes. I have placed buttonholes on both the left and right sides of the sweater fronts so that the buttons can be added easily at a later date.
This little blue sweater was meant to be gender neutral... it looks a bit feminine to me. I used a basic 5 hour sweater pattern with some modifications.

Baby Surprise Jacket for a Surprise Baby

We recently found out that I have another great-great niece or nephew on the way. So what better for a surprise baby but a BSJ (Baby Surprise Jacket). My sister Spooky (the surprise baby's great grandma) gave me a few skeins of Red Heart SUPER SAVER multi color yarn, so I decided to make the baby's sweater out of it. Another surprise is that there may be more than one surprise baby on the way... TWINS! We should find out in a few weeks. But to be on the safe side, I will start another sweater soon.
