Mamma Has a New Toy!!!

I wanted a new... well newish knitting machine... Look what I found on Craig's List for $150 bucks!!! A Studio 322 with ribber attachment, punch cards, some paper pattern thingies, 2 yarn winders, and some various yarns. I'm not really sure how to use it yet, but I'm so excited I could just tinkle!!!!
The ribber attachment is still in the box. I am not ready to attempt that yet...

  1. I also just bought a 322! This should be a great machine for you, I love the knit contour and ribber and punchcards...(I also have a 327 which is almost the same, not sure what is different except the colours). Have fun!

  3. Diana Sullivan has some great beginner lesson videos on You Tube showing how to use the knitting machine. Check her out, she is really very easy to learn from. ;-)

  4. I can't wait to try out the punchcards that came with the machine Tracy. I may have to purchase some new reading glasses to work on this one. The needles are so much smaller than my USM. So much to learn and so many new projects!!!

I did join thank you Lea-Ann.

I just adore Diana, Sheryl. She is an awesome teacher.

  5. Thats a wonderful machine Carla, you will love it :)
Have you put in a new spongebar? If not, step away from the machine until you do so or else you could break the carriage :)
Can't wait to see what creations you make with your new knitting machine :)

    *hugs* Heather x

  6. Thanks Heather, I haven't yet... I'm still a little anxious about the machine... there is so much more to it than my Beast! I am trying to be a responsible knitter and finish some HK projects and get my house in order after the last move. I have downloaded instructions on how to clean it and replace the sponge bar... which I need to order for it... I just touch her as I pass by.
