Well Spooky is out of the hospital... somewhat better and now her husband has been in the hospital... WHERE WILL IT END???? I've been busy trying to get my workroom in order and organized to my liking. I've been finishing up some knitting, jewelry and sewing projects that have been packed away since the 2010 move to Belton... yep that was two moves ago! Many of the projects were simple finishing and repairs.
I unpacked my jewelry vise and the Dremel and found lots of spools of 28 gauge wire and decided to finally try my hand at Viking Knit. So far I think I may have blinded myself using such thin wire... UGG and the following photos are the results of my first attempts.

It is called Viking Knit but feels more like Viking sewing... |
Before pulling the chain through a draw plate... well make shift draw plate... |
After pulling |
Not too bad... but I WILL NEVER use such a small gauge wire again... well.. until next time... |
