Thank you Elly, the colors are not exactly true in the photo. The yarn reminds me of rose potpourri. I will remake the slipper with a different band color, I thought the pink would be okay, but it seems that there is much more orange and rust in the main yarn and I think I can do better at the sew-as-you-go seam now that I have actually done it. I would really like to see yours too.
Carla - You're in Temple! You need to visit Knit Natters next month in Leander! We'd love to have you. We met today, had eight women - we vary from 4 to 14 women - and I did a demo on a crib blanket. Barbara did a Passap demo. We had a great meeting.
They are really nice. I love the colours.
